We had a great stay at this hostel in the heart of Ortigia. The location is perfect, right in the Centre of Ortigia with easy access to all the attractions. The hostel itself had a calm vibe and felt super safe. We enjoyed sitting outside in a not super nice garden and being just a short walk away from the sea shore. The dorm room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. Despite some negative reviews, we found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. a great budget option in a prime location.

One aspect that could be improved is the cleanliness of the common areas.

The location couldn't have been better. We were only a 3-minute walk away from Cala Rossa Beach and Tempio di Apollo. Plus, Aretusa Beach was just 700 yards away. The beach vibes were on point, and we had the best time soaking up the sun, swimming, and exploring the historic sites nearby. It was the ultimate vacation with my friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot!

If there was one thing we would have liked to see more of, it would have been more fun activities for young party-goers. The hostel was great, but it would have been even more awesome if there were some organized events or a lively common area where we could meet other young travelers and have some fun.

Casa Dei Fiori

During my recent transit in Syracuse, I had the opportunity to stay at Casa Dei Fiori. As a frequent traveler, I greatly appreciated the convenience of the hotel being located only 64 km away from the nearest airport, Fontanarossa. This proximity made my stay hassle-free and allowed me to easily catch my connecting flights without any added stress. the database provided accurate information about the distance, ensuring I could plan my travel arrangements accordingly.

While my overall stay at Casa Dei Fiori was pleasant, I did encounter a minor issue. The database mentioned that the accommodation was recently relocated, and unfortunately, the toilet was not functioning properly.

One major drawback was the lack of lockers or any secure place to store valuables. This left me feeling uneasy about leaving my belongings in the hostel, especially since the doors and windows were not always locked.

I had an incredible stay at a great hostel run by incredibly friendly and kind people. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic time in Ortigia. I even got upgraded to a room in a different hotel, which I initially shared with one other person and eventually had all to myself. I ended up staying for a whole month! Casa Dei Fiori is the perfect place to stay in Siracusa, offering a central location, a cozy kitchen, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, especially Angela and Ramzi, made me feel right at home. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Casa Dei Fiori on Ortygia island for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The hostel's location was perfect, just a few minutes away from Piazza Duomo and the beach. The atmosphere was laid-back and the staff made me feel like a family member. Despite the basic dorm room, the spaciousness was appreciated. The WiFi worked well, although charging my phone was a bit difficult in the upper bunk. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable experience.

Great location, close to main attractions and easy to navigate around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing helpful information about the city. The price was quite reasonable, which was a bonus for a city break on a budget.

Difficult check-in process, had trouble finding the host and ended up getting a parking ticket the next morning. No towels were available, which was quite inconvenient.
